Well ladies, it’s looking like Spring at your houses! :) Nana, I didnt use lemon either, since I didnt have one on hand and it would have zipped up the flavor a bit, something I missed and didn’t miss all at the same time :)
Sorry, still can’t leave comments on your blog without having an “anonymous” option… :(
Sorry for the angst. I will try to troubleshoot this weekend :) Thx for letting us know ~

An oldie, but goody – this was one of the first recipes I tried when I got this cookbook. It’s hard to believe it was a year & a half ago!

I used actual walnut pieces instead of walnut oil. Delicious!

White asparagus looks very elegant in this recipe.
And it sure tastes like springtime!
My post will not be up until I come hack home on Sunday, but I wanted to stop by to wish you all a happy holiday/spring. I made the recipe using green and purple beans from the market and loved it.
Here is my story–

Pretty delicious served with a thin crust cheese pizza!
Love asparagus – still catching up on the past three weeks of reading and cooking. March was crazy – 2 weeks of tennis, followed by a week of El Paseo Fashion Week & Palm Desert Food & Wine Festival, and a journey to St. George, Utah to Red Mountain Resort.
Can’t wait to catch up on my reading – what I’ve read so far has been terrific!
PS, here’s my post, which includes a photo of the Irish Soda Bread that I made and never posted about.
Sorry, Dorie, I strayed again and made your asparagus into Shrimp and Asparagus Risotto.
Paired with duck egg fried in bacon fat and whole grain bread, this made for a satisfying breakfast to kick off the long weekend.
paired with Chicken Piccata and sliced fresh strawberries
My very first FFwD and I’m pleased with how well it turned out. I’m hoping that next week I can get in gear and actually post on Friday!
Paired with the Bistrot Paul Bert Pepper Steak.
