I’ll be flying home on Saturday morning and might be a bit late with next week’s recipe. Look forward to catching up with everyone when I get back.

    Have a great weekend all.

I want to thank every one here for your warm encouragement and words of comfort. I will be okay.

A little more cheerful take on this week’s recipe. Quite cute, actually:

Hmmm….well, I actually expected to like these. I added sesame seeds to the tops of some and those were kind of good. But, hmmm….

Hubby made a batch of chocolate chip cookie bars while I was out of town, so I knew seaweed sables were not going to win the popularity contest. I made up last week’s beet salad instead:

The flavor of the sea was too strong for me.

On this one, I think the phrase “swimming upstream” is appropriate…………

And, Bonne Chance to Dorrie and her son on their new Beurre & Sel venture in Manhattan. Where does that lady find the time?

Easy and yummy, if not a bit odd…

Nana may revisit these in the future but I will not- they were a bit too fishy for us. I am not spending my calories on these little guys when this book also taught me how to make creme bruleé :) Now THAT page will get revisited for sure…….
