Wondering how many of you made this with the salmon from last week? Seems like a good combo.
Leave all the links.

Loved the flavor, not the texture.
How funny is that!
Loved the texture, not the flavor. haha!
loved it all! link will go live midnight GMT
What an easy and delicious dish
Enjoyed this – coulourful and tasty:
Nice to see barley get some attention and the lemon really made it a star.
My first foray into cooking with barley…
Yep, I made the fish, barley, and mango chatini – loved them all:
Always liked barley…
I used this week to do a haiku catchup of the sides I’ve missed posting on as well.
Gosh even on European time I can’t beat many of you to post on a Friday!
Loved this, especially in warm weather.
I went with Dorie’s Bonne Idee and it was the perfect side for grilling out.
Not my favorite!
It would have been perfect if I hadn’t burned it!
I really enjoyed this pilaf…very good!
This wasn’t a hit, and I ran into problems making it.
We loved it!
Made a salad variation with herb salad, blanched green beans, Roma tomatoes and grilled shrimp. Found the pilaf to be rather bland on its own.
I went “cold” and was happy making with Dorie’s Bonne Idee. My first cooking experience with Barley and I really enjoyed the taste and the dish.
I have to be honest, I’ve never really eaten barley before…it has an interesting texture that I’m not quite sure about but, Pierce happens to love it! I don’t even think he noticed the “vegetables” that he mostly has us pick out except for broccoli! I will be serving mine tonight with Salmon and Tomatoes en Papillote (pg. 302) from Dorie’s cookbook. http://site.foodfamilyandvino.com/
It was good!
With a little tweaking, this worked well with quinoa:
Nice andn summery with the lemon!
Salmon was the perfect combo!
