This week marks a major milestone for our group. Peach Melba is the 100th recipe. What an achievement!
As far as I know, Mardi from eat. live. travel. write might be the only one who has made all 100. If you are in her company, I apologize for leaving you out. Please shout out and let us know.
Leave a comment with your personal FFwD recipe count along with any other thoughts about your participation in this amazing group.
I don’t know how exactly how many recipes the book contains, but it says over 300 on the cover. That means we have a few more years of cooking together ahead of us.
Cheers to all!

Yay for us! I’ve learned so much and made such wonderful friends on this journey. I’m so looking forward to continuing along with all of you. I started from the beginning, but haven’t made each and every recipe.
Kudos to Mardi & the rest of you who have – I believe that includes Cher!
My personal count is 99 because I refuse to make the fougasse recipe until I have a standing mixer to beat that dough into submission. I tip my hat to Mardi and any other Doristas who have completed all 100. That really is quite an achievement!
I’ve had such a great time cooking my way through the first 100 with you amazing ladies and gents and look forward to the next 100.
I’ll be at 91 tomorrow!!! I’ve loved every minute with this group…what a lovely bunch of bloggers you all are!!! xo
PS…congrats to Mardi and Cher…Rosa, you deserve kudos as well~
I didn’t make it in until later the first month – so my official count is 96 (i did make the back recipes, but didn’t post those). I started the group with Marie Helene’s apple cake and have not missed a week since. But Mardi holds the crown!
Wow congratulations to Mardi!! And really, anyone over 90 is awesome in my book. Mine is 65, give or take a couple.
After today my count will be 91! I am pretty happy with that since I started a few months late. And it’s a doable amount for catching up.
I have had a ton of fun cooking with all of you, and I look forward to several more years of delicious cooking (and eating)!
My count will be 91, too, once I finish the peach melba tomorrow (last minute again, as usual)! I’m so happy to have “met” everyone who has participated so far.
I joined quite late, and have no idea what my count is. But there are so many great friends since then and so many interesting recipes, and in my case sometimes quite challenging due to the different seasons. This is a wonderful group and I´m happy to have found it!
Fellow Doristas: Thank you. For friendship and for being the amazing cheerleaders you are. For answering my silly DM questions along the lines of “Is THIS what it’s supposed to look like?” and for cheering me up when I didn’t do a great job. It’s an absolute pleasure to cook along with you all each week. It makes Fridays even better than they already are. xo
I’ve been with the group since the start. I just counted, and I’ve made 95 of the 100. While I’ve enjoyed trying the recipes and growing as a cook, I think the best part of each Friday is reading what everyone else is up to and getting reciprocal encouragement on my efforts. What a group of warm and interesting people I stumbled into when I joined up. Here’s to the next 100! Happy Friday 100 times over.
100 recipes! And so many of you have made 90+! Extraordinaire! Congratulations to you all and special congrats to Mardi, Cher and Rosa. You are a remarkable group and you amaze me every week. xoDorie
My count is at 70! Still respectable and I hope to have all the rest caught up by the end of the year!! Cant wait for the next five years!!!
This has been such a wonderful experience, cooking with all of you. I feel very blessed to belong to such a terrific community – you are all so talented, and agree with Betsy, it’s wonderful catching up on what everyone is doing and where they’re at!
I’m afraid I’m only at 73 posts with an additional 8 recipes I’ve made but not blogged about (if only I could count the extra times I’ve made things like “my go-to daube”, olive fougasse, or the double chocolate mousse cake!). Congratulations everyone for getting to 100!!
