Somehow, I totally missed the whole mushroom thing in the ingredient list.
I had no vision of what this dish would be like going into it – the apple/ chicken combo was interesting.
Yeah the mushrooms I nearly missed too. I loved this so much I made my Petits Chefs make it the next day. Stay tuned for the Petits Chefs 1st FFWD appearance (surely not their last!)
In case anyone is wondering, you can totally replace the brandy with cherry schnapps :)
How can you miss the mushrooms!?! :) Obviously, I’m a mushroom lover so they stand out to me. My crowd loved this even though they aren’t mushroom lovers … most of those ended up on my plate. ;)
This dish is so similar to the way I cook many evenings … saute a meat, add some savories, and create a pan sauce … C’est vraiment francais.
