PS: why are my crackers puffy and everyone else’s looks like shortbread? {scratches head}
I have no answer to this, even though I am wondering the same thing! I think I made mine too small, but they’re definitely airy, not dense. Kinda like a Goldfish cracker.
Love these

I’ve been sick all week. I just couldn’t muster the energy to make these. I’ve made them before, though, and thought they were the most cheesy-tasting cheese cracker ever. In other words, yum. My mom’s coming to visit for Christmas and we’re going out of town for a few days next week, so I doubt I’ll manage to cook/post the next recipe, either. See you in the New Year! Happy holidays, all! I’ve loved receiving your cards in the mail! (especially b/c not a single person I actually know in real life sent us any cards. You’d think we fell off the face of the earth by moving to Italy…)
As an actual Cheez-it fan, these were amazing…

For those not doing the card exchange this year, I didn’t get a chance to tell you how much I enjoyed cooking with you this year. Here’s to many more recipes together!
Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope you have a lovely holiday!
Nice to have something easy and fast for this week. And, yes, yummy.
Happy holidays to everyone! Be safe and have fun!

Happy Holidays to everyone and thank you so much for all of the beautiful cards that have arrived in my mailbox each day!
The only thing better than these crackers were the wonderful cards Nana and I enjoyed from the holiday exchange. Thanks to Dorie and all of our wonderful group for another great year !! And yes, these crackers were great :)

I’m a little behind, but still plan on making these crackers…
BUT, I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas! and Happy New Year!
What fun to get all of the lovely cards this year. Such a nice surprise picking up the mail each day!! And while not everyone could participate, it was a great reminder of how much fun it’s been to cook together with ALL of you this past year.
Happy Holidays everyone!

Ooo these were so delicious!!
This was my first of the FFwD, but certainly not the first that I’ve cooked from the book–it is one of my most frequently used cookbooks! I will be back regularly!

The dough was a bit trying to pull together, then to roll out, but I’m glad I persisted because these were so good!

Best wishes to all of my fellow Doristas for a festive and joyful holiday season. My husband and I are flying home to the US for the holidays, so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to post the next couple of weeks, but I’ll try.

Late again, sorry! Wonderful to cook along with you all — what a joy! Blessings to you for your end of year celebrations, and happy new year!
I had trouble with this dough — quite dry. I did manage to press it into the slice-and-bake log using regular, all-purpose flour. Tried 1/2 with a blend of alternative flours, and that one is still a mass of crumbles (might try it as a topping for
cassoulet or something though!)
