FOR FUN: Valentine Cookie Exchange

Let’s put Alice in charge of FFWD/Dorista Entertainment. Is that what a Human Resources Director does?  Take a deep breath, Folks.  Alice is suggesting a Valentine Cookie Exchange to include all FFWD colleagus (more than 200 of us). And, no, we don’t have to mail out 200 boxes of cookies to our cookin’ colleagues. Alice  will add more information, answer questions and include anyone who is interested –  on this Link. I cannot leave the holidays behind without thanking you, Alice, for organizing the Christmas Card Exchange. It was a happy part of my holidays and I think most of the other participants felt the same way. Thank you.  Gracias. Et, merci, mon amie.

How is 2013 going for everyone so far?

I thought since the Christmas Card Exchange was so much this past December for all of us Doristas, that we would enjoy a little Valentine’s Day event!!

    Why not cookies??!

Do you remember those school days when you would shop for THE perfect valentine to pass out to your classmates? We buy fewer and fewer valentines as time goes on and its a delightful tradition that has lost itself to “Hallmark” because so many people think of it as a greeting card holiday – so why not turn it into a fun cookie holiday just for us Doristas?!

    Here’s the skinny!

You let me know you want to participate and I make a list of everyone that wants to join in, then on Jan 7th I will email you your very own SECRET Dorista Valentine!

THEN, at some point in the last couple of weeks of January, you bake your special cookie recipe for your Valentine then box it up and mail the cookies and the recipe by February 4th to that special Dorista and sit back and wait for your own Valentine to arrive!

Then on February 14th, we will all post who our Secret FFWD Valentine turned out to be and share their cookie recipe on your post. There will be a special LYL page just for this occasion!

If you would like to participate, simply sign up here on Facebook or on our French Fridays website directly and send me an email with your mailing information! My email is

A little end note, if you feel so inclined to make a little something else or include a special token or something, please keep any additional bits you want to include to $5 or under – we don’t want to make each other feel bad that we didnt think of something else to include or have something else to include. But in the end, you wind up with a special treat, a delicious surprise, drive some FFWD traffic to your blog and get your special cookie recipe out there to share with all the other Doristas! How exciting!

    Can you stand the excitement?!
