LOVED this spaetzle!
Didn’t get to the spaetzle, but I have some other FFWD treasures I caught up on!
Dont forget to check out the Valentines Event on the main page and sign up quickly!! I’m moving the “deadline” to get your name in the proverbial hat to Friday, Jan 11th!
This is Mardi’s link.
Blogger isn’t cooperating with me, so I will link my post when I have one…
Thanks Cher and thank you Doristas for commenting on my last FFWD last week – lovely to come home to!
For those of you in the card exchange – I had a family emergency in the last week of school and my FFWD cards sat at my work desk (where I was not) for nearly a week all ready to mail but I didn’t get to it until the week of the 17th so they will be WELL overdue. Sorry :( I’m looking forward to getting to work on Monday where my cards were sent :) A lovely way to start the year!
My favorite FFWD recipe of 2013!
Great recipe, loved it:
Spaetzle is fun!
I agree, spaetzle is fun and has so many possibilities.
Great (if a bit messy…) http://www.jemangelaville.com/2013/01/03/ffwd-herb-speckled-spaetzle/
The spaetzle was a hit!
tasty, but not very fun for me.
Haiku catch up this week…as Dorie would say…sans spaetzle:
This was very good! It will be making an appearance on my table again!
Did you know that the word “Spätzle” literally means “little sparrow” – always a tremendous hit at our house, each and every time.
Loved. Loved. Loved. Loved.
I wish I could make the same comments as you all are making … that it was wonderful and a hit! But alas, my story is quite different: http://tammycirceo.typepad.com/tammy_circeo_musings_on_l/2013/01/french-fridays-with-dorie-spaetzle.html
It wasn’t quick (at least for me), but we really enjoyed it!
I liked this, but I’m not sure it was worth the trouble.
I agree with Karen, though we enjoyed the dish.
Down with the flu but Nana knocked this out of the park ~
When I looked online this week to see what we were making for this weeks online cooking club. I was excited to see Spaetzle! I always wanted to make it and never saw a recipe that interested me. The only time I’ve ever eaten it was when I was visiting my sister in Germany…but I still remember how good it was! http://site.foodfamilyandvino.com/#
This was a difficult day —- spaetzle-making Thursday. But therein lies the story…..
this was really very yummy, can’t wait to see how others fared
I loved the spaetzle! I am sure I will be making this again!
A little late, but I made these buttery delightful little things today for lunch!
A tad late…,made this Saturday night before leaving for Yosemite – just felt like something I should eat before going to play in the snow ;-)
Better late than never, right?
And here we have it-
I definitely need a spaetzle maker for this. but still delicious none the less! and my first FFwD post! http://foodingwithemily.wordpress.com/2013/01/12/herbed-spaetzle-french-fridays-with-dorie/
