      Thanks Cher and thank you Doristas for commenting on my last FFWD last week – lovely to come home to!

      For those of you in the card exchange – I had a family emergency in the last week of school and my FFWD cards sat at my work desk (where I was not) for nearly a week all ready to mail but I didn’t get to it until the week of the 17th so they will be WELL overdue. Sorry :( I’m looking forward to getting to work on Monday where my cards were sent :) A lovely way to start the year!

    Did you know that the word “Spätzle” literally means “little sparrow” – always a tremendous hit at our house, each and every time.

    When I looked online this week to see what we were making for this weeks online cooking club. I was excited to see Spaetzle! I always wanted to make it and never saw a recipe that interested me. The only time I’ve ever eaten it was when I was visiting my sister in Germany…but I still remember how good it was!
