December Schedule

The votes are in. Here’s the line up.

December 6, 2013: Almond Orange Tuiles (p404)
December 13, 2013: Mme. Maman’s Chopped Liver (p32)
December 20, 2013: Recipe Swap Onion “Carbonara” (p153)
December 27, 2013: Dilled Gravlax with Mustard Sauce (p30)

Apologies to those Doristas that bought a Red Kuri squash. You’ll enjoy the soup as a bonus recipe now. We’ll definitely put that on the schedule next fall. I’m thinking it will be too late in January to find them at the market.

I have FOUR Red Kuri Squash (actually an accident with my organic delivery this week but figured it wouldn’t matter). Guess I’ll make and photograph for when it does roll around. It’s definitely soup weather here. Now to find some eaters for the liver and fish…..

Sigh. Time to start looking for a liver substitute… After last year’s liver mousse/ pate, I don’t think I can pass this one off on anyone in my family – not even my father, who will eat anything I make :-)

Yay. Sounds like it’ll be a fun month. I’m looking forward to it.

Give a holler if you find a liver substitute, Cher. Liver and gravlax in one month. Ouch.
