Happy New Year lovely Doristas. It’s been so lovely getting to know more of you this year through your blogs and this site! I’m off to visit my Nana in Adelaide this weekend but will try to catch up with all your posts early next week.

(on Australian time here, not up in the middle of the night!)

    See you all in 2014!

Happy New Year, my friends. It has been another great year of cooking along with you (and meeting) all!

P.S. The gravlax was a hit – even with my skeptics.

Whew! I made all of the recipes for Nov and unsuccessfully posted about them, and the same is happening with December – but at least one out of 8 is making it up on the blog. New Years Resolution is to be a better FFWD member and actually blog about the recipes.

    Happy New YEar to everyone!

Loved this and love knowing now that it can be made at home! I even made homemade bagels today to have some cream cheese too.

So happy that this got such love from you all. I adored it. And I am going to now pretend it has been a family tradition as I will be making this every year now.

For all of you who are not on Facebook, this was posted on Andrea’s Facebook page this morning. Pray, Doristas, Pray.

    My heart is breaking.
Andrea, my wife and best friend, she is seriously ill.
Please wish her all the strength, she will need these days.
