    A simple version:

(no P&Q this week? I didn’t have any, just missed the chatter!)

No crepes for me yet this week. I do have some sweet stories around crepes that I will get around sharing very soon.

I wanted to write here too quickly to let you all know that I’m in a transition process at work. I gave my notice on Monday and things are a little crazy trying to get all the things I need to get done… done. I can’t wait to see how everything plays out in the next month. I almost posted this on the group’s FB page, but it seems that our posts are visible to all of our friends and obviously this is not I’m screaming out of rooftops at this time.

Can’t wait to see your posts when I get home this evening. Over and out!

Oh, we loved these. But, I don’t think I have ever met a bad crepe.

  6. Diane February 21, 2014 at 8:32 AM #

I was surprised at how easy these were to make.

Mixed results but very tasty! Can I blame it on my pan?

My 15MO daughter doesn’t take to it well but I like mine. The sauce perks me up! ;)

These buttery citrus crêpes make a beautiful dessert.

Bill is doing well…the mitral valve repair was a complete success. But as he’s said more than once this week, he feels like he’s been hit by a truck. He could be home as early as tomorrow, but Sunday is more likely. Almost all his tubes and lines have been pulled…hooray! And his surgeon said his arteries were pristine, so I guess all that chocolate, butter and bacon has done no harm ;) Thanks so much for all your good thoughts and prayers. xoxo

Fabulous !!! I knew chocolate, butter and bacon were good for you, but it’s nice to have confirmation :) Thanks for the update ~

    • Candy February 22, 2014 at 11:34 AM #

Happy to have this update. Great news!!!

Now that he is coming homw (and, is probably already there), I am going to take him off the Episcopalian and put you on it. Doctors are not good patients. Glad you got through this, Liz, and trust that the recovery period will go swimmingly. Hope Katie is on the mend also.

Well it’s been way too long but I am here with my Saturday edition of French Fridays – I just couldn’t miss a chance to make a crepe and say hi to all of you. Looking forward to visiting all of your posts.

This crepe, as I mention in the post, is very different than the crepes I make for blintzes but it is so good right out of the pan. I also included a video I took a couple years ago of my son making a crepe and a picture of me with your very own Mardi in Paris two summers ago!
