Super hearty winter meal… but definitely not from the supermarket. It took a butcher shop and a gourmet market to make this one.

Well, it certainly has been soup weather around here. -7 this morning.

Since I skipped the duck leg, not only was this a supermarket garbure; I already had everything I needed in my refrigerator/ freezer already… Yay for that.

I was so excited for this one, especially with this long, cold winter…brrr!

A wonderful week at Chez Hirsch with crepes (delicious), garbure (maybe the best I’ve tasted) and Melissa (a mother-daughter week). Now anxious to get caught up on all your posts.

My weekend was busy and I neglected to come post over here! We loved this hearty soup and it will certainly earn a rotation in our winter menus.
