What do you want to make in May?

I think we need to be making some fish. If you look at the fish chapter alone, there aren’t many recipes left, but there are fish appetizers, soups, and snacks that you have been avoiding…

Friday May 16 is Food Revolution Day. Ambassador Mardi Michels will be leading the Dorista participation. She’ll let us know the plan when the May schedule gets posted.

Leave your nominations here until Tuesday night. We’ll vote Wednesday and Thursday and post the May schedule on Friday.

      On second thought, maybe leave the soup for August, when corn and basil are in their prime.

      Perhaps Simplest Breton Fish Soup (96) instead.

    I am thinking seasonal and leeks and spinach are pretty much all we have right now. I hope we can make the pepper, tomato, and avocado dishes in the summer months.

    I will try to get back for some nominations. :)

    I have been thinking that one approach we might want to take is to reserve some really great recipes for our last month or two cooking together with this book. I would hate to end up with a few things that we just couldn’t bring ourselves to make earlier… I know someone’s figured out when it will be. Does anyone think that makes sense?

        maybe we should make the food rev fri a “make-up” day? and try to do what we did last year and re-make a recipe from FFWD into a food rev appropriate recipe? or just make-up one?
