Just made the Paris Mushroom soup yesterday for lunch. We were out of onions so used Leeks instead. Oh my stars was it good!

    Yay! Thanks for posting these.

Looking forward to making the mushroom soup for the 2nd time and fixing my original errors (I’ll have all white mushrooms, and use my regular blender). I’m sure my guests will enjoy it!

Oh, great! I’m really bad when there’s not a definite schedule (with the dates assigned to specific dishes!)… Can’t wait to try the mushroom soup this week! :)

I have the ingredients for the mushroom soup, and I can’t wait to make it. Already made the b’stilla — my wife pronounced it her new favorite dish!

Yip I was hopeless with the freeform method of choosing….as much as it made sense. Unfortunately I live in the part of the world where temperatures are HOT so some of the wintery diishes I just can’t bring myself to make in the heat. I will be making the Chicken and cake though…and maybe the gnocchi too but soup when your hot from the heat anyway???

I have been the world’s largest slacker and it has been FOREVER since I’ve been cooking along with the group- New Year’s Res= stay on top of FFWD. It has been a minor struggle with my family who are not adventurous eaters and with my lactose-intolerance discovery, but I’m hoping I can hop back on the wagon and do my best to adjust the recipes to make everyone in my house happy. I think it will be fun to work on some variations! Another New Year’s Res= comment on more of my fellow FFWD’ers blogs! :)
