Such an easy, yet impressive recipe:
I loved this recipe! So easy and appetizing:
Loved this! The once simple green bean has been elevated to a sophisticated vegetable with this recipe.
My name for this recipe: EZ Beanz.
It’s green beans but when I re-imagined it as part of a fantasy in-flight meal, it turned into a very fun cooking project:
These were great, I made two half batches, one with Bac-Os (just for fun) and one with cashews — to make a couple of meat free versions. Loved the cooking method!
Pancetta = yum
simple and so good!
My dog loves green beans!
Can we just cook everything in pancetta fat from now on?
I used haricots verts and Thomas Keller’s “big pot blanching” method for vividly colored and perfectly seasoned green beans. I also shared a few other links and a vegetable side I fell in love with in Las Vegas…Now, bring on those short ribs!
These were a big hit for dinner with friends, especially with next week’s short ribs!
I loved this one!
I used our Charcutepalooza pancetta!
Glad to make something simple for a change!
Like Mardi, I used my Charcutepalooza bacon for this dish. Yum, Yum!
Proof that so often, simple really is best! http://tastytrix.blogspot.com/2011/02/green-beans-with-pancetta-for-french.html
Looks like everyone liked this one!
With all the Valentine’s desserts and candies it was the right choice to make a tasty, healthy vegetable!
Because I’m hoping to catch up on the Charcutepalooza pancetta challenge soon, I made mine with veggie bacon. And I have to say, I don’t recommend it!
I was unable to find pancetta but the results were incredible.
Seriously Killer dish! Loved it!
This is part two of my Valentine’s Day challenge:
YUMMY green beans!
We loved this one!
This says it all…
Three teens ate beans!
Thankful for an easy one this week! And it was so good! Also catching up on past recipes, with the pumpkin gorgonzola flan and Gerard’s mustard tart.
part of a delicious Valentine’s Day dinner with my girlfriend
Great dish, a simple pleasure.
Delicious way to have green beans! Love this recipe:)
Great recipe! http://lifeinaloafpan.blogspot.com/2011/02/ffwd.html
Loved these green beans!!!
Loved, LOVED these! Can’t wait to make them again. So good and easy!
I bought $.65 of pancetta and added some Meyer lemon zest! :)
What’s not to love ?
I’m catching up on recipes this week, green beans to come but until then: tart
got this one in just in time!
My Pancetta Green Beans turned into Prosciutto Green Beans…probalby the most expensive green beans I’ve ever cooked…lol…but the prosciutto was oh so tasty!
LOVED this recipe – so easy and flavorful!
Pancetta makes everything more delicious!
This will be such an easy one to add to our regular rotation. Yay–love that!
Enjoyable but not exciting:
Teamed the pancetta green beans with Salmon Fishcakes and everyone loved them!
Here’s my post … I love good green beans!

My book arrived on Valentine’s day, just in time to make my first recipe from the book. The green beans were a hit!
Cooked on Friday, but not posted until Saturday.
Easy, quick, and delicious – who can ask for more?
Easy and tasty! http://zwetschgen.blogspot.com/2011/02/pancetta-green-beans-and-valentines-day.html
Sorry for the delay! Quick, tasty and pretty!
Let’s try the link again:
Better late than never!
Will I have the distinction of being the last poster?
Sorry, Lola … unfortunately, I get the “late to the party” dunce cap this week
I made a few modifications to the recipe – but la-la-LOVED it!
All of February is posted together. The green beans were terrific!
I’m sort of operating on my own time frame apparently…oops. Trying to get some rewinds done that I missed along the way. These were delicious! Here’s my post: http://grandmaskitchentable.typepad.com/grandmas_kitchen_table/2011/04/french-fridays-with-dorie-pancetta-green-beans.html

[...] Broccoli leaves fresh from the market… you are also the star of this dish! This is worse than having to choose was my favorite guy in Menudo/New Kids on the Block/first season of Next Iron Chef. I intended to write about this week’s French Friday’s with Dorie experience focusing on the broccoli leaves. What is not to love about broccoli greens? The stem is thin and crunchy, the leaves wilt like the tenderest spinach, and it is full of all the great nutrients the florets also have. They are definitely one of my favorite finds at the farmers’ market these days. Since they are not as tough as the broccoli itself, I blanched them using the technique from the Pancetta Green Beans.
