Oh so good!
Happy Springy-ish Friday!
My taste buds were in heaven over this!!!
weeks were reversed, broccoli is up and now the quinoa is too!
This was good, I’ll have to try it with other veggies in the future.
Couldn’t get enough of these!
Using Whole Foods Seeduction bread to make breadcrumb was a fantastic idea!
I needed a tasty, healthy recipe this week…Hubby loves this broccoli!
Loved the garlicky-crumb coating! Used broccolini and paired it with Sicilian marinated swordfish and roasted fingerling potatoes. Happy Friday!
Such a yummy recipe!! http://www.stephsbitebybite.com/?p=1756
This is the first time I’ve enjoyed steamed broccoli. It tastes so much better with the garlic and lemon crumb topping!
This recipe made broccoli (not my most favorite vegetable) quite tasty!
LOVED this one! The bread crumb topping was so good:
We loved this one! http://fakeginger.com/?p=1593
Loved this too but it was SO hard to photograph!
Here’s my broccoli with another French Fridays recipe from a couple weeks ago…
I love having another way to prepare broccoli!
I’m eating the leftovers as I type this….mmmmmm…
Great timing on this dish–lemon and mint just as the temperatures heat up!
I just ate my left-overs for lunch, too! They might have been even better than the night I made my Garlicky Crumb-Coated Broccoli! I used extra lemon zest- I love the pairing of lemon with broccoli :)
I served this with halibut and a green olive relish, it was delicious:-)
Yumm! Also, anyone tried or have opinions on a Nikon D7000? If so, please leave me a comment on my blog. Thanks!! Happy Friday!!
I used broccoli leaves, so it was more crumb-dusted than crumb-coated. Those breadcrumbs were AWESOME!
Forget being a “make again” dish – this is now a Red’s Kitchen STANDARD! so good, even the broccoli-ambivalent mister loved it
Loved this one! So good and so easy!
We loved this at our house! I might make broccoli this way every time I serve it.
This is one of the first recipes I made from the book…and a definite favorite! http://foodfrombooks.blogspot.com/2010/10/garlicky-crumb-coated-broccoli.html
Quick and delicious!!
Perfectly delicious and easy!
Nice side dish.
I found the crunch of the bread crumbs just perfect with the broccoli … very nice.
This was good….and I don’t even really like broccoli! I will say though that I don’t understand why Dorie doesn’t ever mention using the microwave. It’s such an essential (and widely used!) tool in the american kitchen! I realize that not every french kitchen may have one (at least they didn’t when I lived there…but that’s dating myself!) but this cookbook is not written in french, so I say let’s steam the broccoli in the microwave – it saves nutrients and time!!
I loved this one! I used whole wheat bread crumbs from a day old loaf, but it was still so good. So simple, too! Definitely a new standard.
I love broccoli! http://jillbert.wordpress.com/2011/04/08/french-fridays-with-dorie-garlicky-crumb-coated-broccoli/
New favorite way to have broccoli!
I’ve got all the ingredients…just haven’t cooked it yet! So sad. Tomorrow or Sunday!! But I posted anyway.
I thought this was tasty.
I can’t wait to use this recipe with other veggies!
My first contribution to FFwD. This broccoli dish has my kids wanting more, what a miracle!
Your photos were amazing! …and I loved your blog! Welcome to FFwD!
Thank you for coming by my site! And for the warm welcome ;-)
Oh my. Never thought we would be fighting over who gets to eat the broccoli !
This was really good: http://onewetfoot.wordpress.com/2011/04/08/ffwd-garlicky-crumb-coated-broccoli/
I liked it, but it didn’t turn my husband into a broccoli lover.
Love, Love, Love it!
Another winner. So much for eating plain broccoli again!
The broccoli was scrumptious & steaming it made it come out nice & fresh; I might decrease the amount of crumbs a bit, but the lemon, garlic & mint was delicious!
Yummy, garlicky goodness!
Loved the crumbs. Yum.
I’m having this for lunch tomorrow! I can’t eat bread crumbs so I made nut crumbs :)
Broccoli just got better :)
This was really great! http://cookingluciacara.blogspot.com/2011/04/garlicky-crumb-coated-broccoli.html
Could I be the last to be posting this week? :)
I beat you on being the last KY (so far at least…) ;-]
Wonderful and healthy side dish! Very easy too! Can’t wait for Eclairs!
Woops I forgot my link! http://www.speckleofdirt.com/?p=805
Could have sworn I did this last week!
finally got this one up!
Too good not to try this one, especially if you are a broccoli lover, but even if you aren’t! http://grandmaskitchentable.typepad.com/grandmas_kitchen_table/2011/04/french-fridays-with-dorie-garlicky-crumb-coated-broccoli.html
