Rhubarb is my husband’s favorite. I am not a fan. So, he relies on my cousin to make him rhubarb custard pies.
Leave your links here, folks.

Another adventure !
This week was a special treat! Looking forward to everyone’s unique version of this!
Yeah! I (heart) rhubarb… Weird, huh?
This is a perfect topping.
Yum! I served mine with homemade cardamom and saffron ice cream!
Served this over ice cream and fell in love.
Rhubarb is a favorite of mine and this is such an easy and perfect way to prepare it! http://saffronandhoney.com/2011/06/17/roasted-rhubarb/
There is no rhubarb in the Caribbean, so I did a bit of catching up with another AMFT recipe. I’m jealous of all the little rhubarb patches some of you have at home!
Hot AZ and rhubarb don’t mix…can’t grow here. I could not find any fresh…so I adjusted. But I do love rhubarb and wish I could use it often.
I have a rhubarb patch in my own backyard. No shopping required this week. I loved it, especially with yogurt for breakfast!
Big J from me, you having your own personal rhubarb patch! Reminds me of my Grandma Kelly’s in Michigan when I was growing up. My favorite was the Greek yogurt idea. Mine was the honey and vanilla flavored. Yum!
as Garrison Keillor would say … Be-Bop-a-Re-Bop Rhubarb YUMMINESS!!!
(last night was a “skip dinner and go straight for dessert” kinda night)
Here’s mine: http://www.jemangelaville.com/2011/06/17/ffwd-roasted-rhubarb/
Really good. With lemon tart on the side ;-)
I turned this into “rhubarb shortcake sundaes”. Yum!
Easy and good.
I was surprised; I think I liked it!
I served it over ice cream and I really liked the rhubarb syrup.
I liked this…but the rest of the family wouldn’t even take a taste!
We loved this…it was a wonderful topping for ice cream!
Not a fan, still. Sigh.
Me either, but a twitter friend turned the Roasted Rhubarb into Ketchup that I want to try. Maybe we will be converted!?
My supermarket didn’t have any rhubarb, so I couldn’t participate this week. Sniffle. Love reading about everyone else’s experiences, though!
roasted fruit is so under rated. this was delicious, my kids enjoyed it and i will make this over and over again!
Loved the nostalgia of this recipe. My husband thanks you Dorie!
First time using rhubarb! Will buy it again in the future :).
I went to 5 different markets and I did not find a stalk of rhubarb :(… I have to sit out this week. Hope you like roasted mangoes! :)
The first FFWD I’ve missed! I just couldn’t do the rhubarb!
My latest post is French inspired however!
Not a successful week for me. At first I thought I just didn’t like rhubarb, but upon further review I may have either undercooked it, or my rhubarb was old and dry. C’est la vie!
My husband and I enjoyed this – my kids not so much!
Would you believe I couldn’t find any fresh rhubarb not even at the Farmer’s Market in our area. Oh well, inspired to plant my own for the future.
Rhubarb has always been a favorite of mine. I was lucky to find some in the store as it’s the end of the season for it here.
I love rhubarb cooked this way and also loving rhubarb from the gardens;-)
What a wonderfully easy sweet treat.
I LOVED THIS – Gone in one day. I grew up with rhubarb, cook with it every Spring, have never roasted it.
Be sure to peek at “An Italian Recipe for Happiness” by my Guest Blogger, Michelle Morgando, who has just returned home from a travel/food writing trip to Italy. Next year they are going to France ( thewritersworkshop.net )
Anxious to try next week’s salad.
First time trying rhubarb. It was fantastic.
I loved the combination of orange and rhubarb!
This was great! Delicious with vanilla rice pudding.
A nice sweet-tart treat when served over coconut ice cream to cut through the zing! Rhubarb makes for good, colorful photos too!
Ridiculously easy and impressive! I made Roasted Rhubarb Shortcakes!
Shortcake? What a great excuse to make this recipe again!
Totally forgot the link! Ooops!
Roasted Rhubarb Shortcake!
We liked the roasted rhubarb, especially over ice cream!
I flavoured mine with bergamot and served with vanilla rice pudding in the cutest Weck canning jars. I love them!
Friday and the rhubarb are a distant memory:
No fresh rhubarb to roast in my part of the world, but in the spirit of Rhubarb Friday, I managed to turn my preserved rhubarb into something that’s cool – popsicles!
I just finished another bowl of vanilla ice cream with roasted rhubarb. Burp. Pardon me.
Thank you to all the nice Doristas who welcomed me last week. And thanks to Dorie for a lovely recipe. It is simple, delicious and what a color!
This is my first time participating and what a lovely recipe to start out on.
Perfect spring recipe. And I’ve discovered a new ingredient to play with…thanks Dorie!
Love all the different ways everyone served this. Getting a little tired of asparagus, but could eat this daily!
Love love love rhubarb! http://marymaryculinary.blogspot.com/2011/06/strawberry-and-roasted-rhubarb-custard.html
yum! first time to eat rhubarb!
Loved this one! :)
Late again, as is becoming usual!!
Not much of a rhubarb fan in recent years, but I may come back to it because of this recipe! YUM!!
I’m late posting this, but must say this made a perfect end-of-the-weekend treat over ice cream: http://onewetfoot.wordpress.com/2011/06/19/ffwd-roasted-rhubarb/
Late again, as is becoming usual!
Loved this, tho! Went great with homemade sorbet!
And it appears my memory is going, too, ‘cuz I already left this link 2 days ago. GOOD GRIEF!
Better late (again) than never Doristas! I used this in some fun ‘to go’ parfaits for an elegant family picnic.
I uesed Lidia’s crostata invertita with rhubarb recipe
(the raspberries are my addition)
Better late than never???
