Perfect fresh out of the oven on a cold winter night…
Stay warm, everyone!
These were wonderful hot out of the oven. A few hours later…not as great. I look forward into turning them into some sort of breakfast.
Lovely, lovely rolls.
I must confess, I did not make the brioche. But I did make a bunch of Dorie AMFT recipes for New Year’s including the creme brulee from a few weeks back.http://wp.me/p1Juyy-6K
This brioche is so delicious that I do not need to go Paris or any French boulangeries to savor them…I can now find them in my kitchen :) Thanks to Dorie for sharing with us such a wonderful brioche recipe in her book – Around My French Table.
My first FFwD recipe! Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and can’t wait for next week.
Pretty happy with how my brioche turned out:-)
They are pretty!
I have to say I was rather proud of myself! These were wonderful. Second batch is in the fridge now!
I made the bubble top brioche rolls over the holidays several times, they were fun to make, pretty and always delicious. I included them in my top 10 links for 2011!
My favorite FFwD recipe so far in 2012 :)
I loved making them and am loving eating them.
Betsy, it’s the ONLY recipe so far in 2012! Haha, you’re so sweet. :)
These looked gorgeous and tasted delicious!!
These were really fun to make and delicious!
I have a feeling that this will fall into that category of foods which I am happy to have tried once and will from now on be leaving to the professionals. Kind of like mayonnaise and fresh pasta. But I am looking forward to figuring what to do with my leftover dough.
I loved these! I froze most of mine, and they reheated really well.
If you were subscribed to my blog, please take the time to do it again. I moved the blog from wordpress.com into a self-hosted website, so I apologize in advance for the inconvenience.
I joined too late to make these wonderful looking brioche, but I can’t wait to make next weeks recipe!
These brioches were heavenly, we all loved them! I made mine with 4 ‘bubbles’ instead of the prescribed 3…I really didn’t know what I was trying to achieve. 2012 madness, it all begins here!
I can’t believe I made these and they worked out!!!
I was expecting a big, fat failure but was pleasantly surprised that they actually turned out!
Happy first French Friday of 2012!
2012 is off to a great start – thanks Dorie for another amazing recipe !!
Mini loaves for me! First recipe made in my new place!
Very pretty rolls – pretty to look at and pretty rich to eat!
We loved it. Easy and really tasty, and they look great.
These were absolutely amazing….buttery and rich! I will be making these many more times in the future! Thank you, Dorie!!
I thought these were delicious, but because of all the time involved, I don’t know how often I’ll make them.
These were great just out of the oven! http://joracooks.blogspot.com/2012/01/ffwd-bubble-top-brioche.html
Not quite as good as I had hoped. Oh well!
Nothing like adding a little caramel, butter, and sugar to make brioche completely over the top…love this recipe!
So good and so easy:)
Really enjoyed these and will be making again this weekend! Also, just got back from a little excursion to Las Vegas and had some great culinary inspiration from our dining experiences that I can’t wait to try at home and share.
Happy First French Friday of 2012! PS – is anyone joining Tuesday with Dorie next month?
I thought the Tuesdays baking group was closing because they finished the book…
They are starting a new group with the Baking with Julia book by Dorie Greespan…..group opened this week – hope you register! It’s always so fun to read your posts!
This took some time but was so worth it!
A little late due to a do-over!
In the end, they turned out beautifully!
Just a little late, and a little rogue, with the brioche. Loved the recipe, and even though I didn’t do the bubble tops, I plan to try them for a dinner party or something.
YUM! Finally got my post up!
I’m thrilled and want to share with everybody – Dorie left a comment on my top 10 favorite links for French Fridays with Dorie blog post!
Happy New Year, Everybody! I was impressed with how well these turned out. Makes us look good, huh? I loved the yeasty goodness for the new year beginning. A different form of bubbly for us!
Better late than never…
